In 2015, White Wilderness Heli Skiing was founded in Terrace, British Columbia, Canada. Exploring these wild places, the beautiful forests, and the endless glacier and mountain landscapes – the home of one of the most beautiful and diverse heliski areas in the world – and sharing them with national and international guests is the passion of the White Wilderness Heliski team.
The concept is to combine a love for detail, precision, and efficiency with Canadian hospitality and wilderness experience. The goal: to create unparalleled experiences both on and off the mountains. The process: doing absolutely everything possible to offer our esteemed guests a tailored and unforgettable heliskiing experience.
The symbiosis of heliskiing in the white wilderness with dream-like deep snow descents, and the luxurious yet stylish ambiance of the lodge appeals perfectly to our demanding international heliski clientele. This is reflected in the many positive guest reactions, strong bookings, and – perhaps most importantly – the many happy faces of our guests. During the summer months, fly fishing has been a long-standing tradition at the Skeena River Lodge. We then welcome a long list of international guests to the lodge, who fish for salmon and rainbow trout in the fish-rich tributaries of the Skeena and Nass river systems. And in our ongoing quest to improve the extraordinary, further optimizations are continuously made in our small but fine resort between the heliski and fly fishing seasons.
